1987 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class

Description

This is a lovely Mercedes 560SL sold new to Dr Paul Terasaki in Santa Monica Ca in  1987 where during his ownership it received excellent service at Simonson's Mercedes Benz,  it still sports it's original issue California  blue plates. The second owner used it very sparingly and it now has only
60,000 original miles, the service book and Carfax smog  history proves the mileage and unlike many of these cars the odo has always worked.

As can be expected with such low miles the car drives beautifully, she  shifts and stops just as she should. Tires and brakes are one year and a few hundred miles old and the oil has been changed recently. The car has just passed a stringed enhanced California smog, the AC blows cold, the antennae and expensive replacement stereo work fine as does the SRS system  and all the instruments .
Structurally the car is rust and accident free with all original sheet metal with the  corresponding stickers. The soft top appears original and is in great shape, the rear window is clear as shows in the photos and the matching hardtop is mint with a very nice headliner.
Overall a very useable classic that is ready to go.
